According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, MohammadReza Movassaghinia, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO during a meeting with the managers of water supply companies from the southern coasts (lines one, two and three) stated that water supply plans from the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, financing methods, investor participation, and capital increase plans should be reviewed and updated plans should be presented based on the future needs of the mining industries sector.
Noting the IMIDRO’s support of water transfer projects to the Central Plateau (Line 1) and water transfer programs to the Eastern provinces and Isfahan, he said: “production of equipment with a view to domestic production, price and cost, rate sales and… have vital importance in water transmission lines”.
Zahedan water supply priority
During the meeting, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO and the managing directors of water transmission companies pointed out the importance and priority of water supply for Sistan and Baluchistan province and discussed the short-term and long-term plans.
Movassaghinia, noted to the issue of equipment’s domestic production and using the experience of line one and said: by reviewing the programs, existing barriers should be removed with the cooperation of the government and the private sector.
